CENTRAL TEXAS FLOODS - 2025

PHI partnered with several groups to help with the ongoing recovery and relief efforts for those affected by the flooding in central Texas.

To Papa‘s House International
I want to thank you for your support of the Tarrant Baptist Association Disaster Relief Unit. During the July 4 flooding in the Texas Hill country. We have been very busy, we had chaplains in Kerrville for the first week. We were at the First Baptist Church where reassembly was. Our chaplains were there as the survivors were safely reunited with their family. They were also there when a family was told that their loved one did not survive. So they provided a great ministry. Also, our chainsaw and mud-out team members worked in the flood area.
Our feeding unit was located in San Angelo where we served three weeks. The flooding there was just as devastating as it was in Kerrville. There was only one fatality, but the property lost was tremendous.
At this time the cleanup and recovery portion of the of disaster is complete and we have entered into a rebuild phase which will last into October. Our  Feeding team will be there, feeding the workers breakfast, lunch, and supper each day. These teams will be in the San Angelo area helping people get their property back up. We focus mainly on the elderly and the handicap and we help them repair or rebuild their homes.
Our next scheduled event is Beach Reach 2026 which will be the second and third week of March we will go to South Padre Island and minister to the Baptist student ministry teams as they share the gospel with unsaved college students who are on spring break.
Our team always stands ready for the next disaster if it is a hurricane, tornado, fire or whatever it may be we stand ready and we are able to go and minister effectively because of donations like yours. So again, I want to thank you for all that you have done and let you know that your support is greatly needed and greatly appreciated.
May God bless you and the ministry of Papa's House International.
