PROJECT Typhoon Haiyan - Philippines - Emergency Help – COMPLETED

In the Philippines, Papa’s House worked with the local churches and provided much needed emergency relief funds to buy food, water and supplies for those devastated by Typhoon Haiyan that hit in November 2013.

TESTIMONY:

We are happy to inform you that through your prayers and financial support, we were able to serve around  60 families over 5 different areas in President Roxas, Capiz. Construction materials (as identified personally by the families) were bought and given to the families for the reconstruction of their houses.

Pictures show my Dad, Ptr. Fernando Lausa (in yellow undershirt) and a co-pastor from our church, Ptr. Edizon Bituag (red sleeveless) gathering the families for instruction assisted by a local pastor in the area, Ptr. Sol (wearing orange long sleeves). A survey was done prior to the purchase of materials wherein families were asked to identify the materials needed for the rebuilding of their houses, thus these were listed down and was used for purchasing. Representatives from every family were then accompanied to the store to buy the materials.

Again, thank you for you and your church who has been a part of what God is doing in our country. We thank God for your lives and heart for the Philippines. May the Lord continuously bless you richly as you serve Him.

God bless!
